You may agree to battle with someone before making a post, or make a thread and wait for someone to reply. Feel free to advertise your battle thread in the C-Box - just don't flood it.If you are battling some specific, please include their name in brackets in the title of the thread.
For example:
Bobbie wants to battle! [Mary Sue]
In the FIRST POST, you must put the number of items allowed, if any, the amount of Pokémon being used, the maximum number of badges (if you are searching for a random opponent) and anything else specific you feel important to include. If you do not decide immediately and talk it over with your opponent, you must edit the first post!
Prizes: [This is what goes from the loser to the winner; it may be money, items or even Pokémon; completely optional] Type: [Single, Double] Items: [Allowed & limit, if applicable/Not Allowed] Pokémon: [Level limits, if applicable & amount being used] Badges: [Minimum and/or maximum, if applicable]

Happiness levels are very rarely gained here.
$500 is gained for the winner automatically.
In the case of a tie, each member gains $100.
No levels, moves or evolutions will occur until the very end of your battle. When you are finished with your battle, contact a mod (you may use the Need A Mod? threads, the C-Box - if one is online - or you may PM a specific mod if you so wish) to list out the details of the victory.
LITERACY LEVELS DO NOT APPLY HERE. These battles should be short, sweet, and to the point. Mods should not have to sit at your thread, reading it for hours on end, just to figure out who all was involved in it, much less what level they all become.
Instead of the normal two-dodge rule, you have a three dodge maximum. However, this is for the ENTIRE BATTLE. If there is only one Pokémon being used for each trainer, no dodges may be made. (Full dodges only.)
Powerplaying is taken extremely seriously here. Half damage may be taken only rarely. No Pokémon will ever attack with a 'surge of extra power,' or 'twice the strength.' If you are found to be powerplaying, you will automatically lose. No one likes to lose, but it will happen every now and then.
You may decide, before the battle, who the winner will be, and/or if you would like it to end in a tie.
